Child & Family Therapist
Ashley earned her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Cloud State University in 2018 and she has six years of experience within the field. Ashley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ashley operates from a Systems perspective when working with clients, which means she views all individuals as being impacted by various systems (i.e., family, friends, etc.) within their life. She also utilizes Narrative, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered and Experiential therapy modalities with her clients. Ashley often will use Play Therapy and Art as therapeutic tools with many of her clients. At the center of Ashley’s work is her desire to cultivate a space where clients feel they are able to be heard. Therefore, Ashley strives to create an open, affirming and supportive environment where individuals feel welcome and comfortable in therapy.
Ashley currently works with children, adolescents, adults and families in therapy. She has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She also really enjoys working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Ashley strives to provide gender-affirming care by creating a safe space for all of her clients to share their stories. When not working, Ashley enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family members, and baking.
